LSU Baseballs Greatest Season

LSU Baseballs Greatest Season

2013 could go down in history as the Greatest Baseball Season Ever if they get past Oklahoma and make it
to the College World Series in Omaha! Already having the winningest season ever at this point and having the
advantage over Oklahoma by playing a two or three game series in the intimidating Alex Box Stadium on Skip
Bertman Field this weekend.
Couple that with one of college baseball's best hitting lineups in years, it all depends on the big three hurlers,
Nola, Eades and Cody Glenn. Expecting close games, because the Sooners' pitching staff is equally loaded, it
depends on how well the pitchers hold up, the hitters should score a few runs.
The key may be Chris Cotton, the slight lefthander who has proven over and over to be a terrific closer,
if he stays the course, LSU would be a tough opponent in Super Regional with the Sooners as well as a
formidable opponent in Omaha...Geaux Tigers!
