1. Stop by a grocery store and stock up on healthy snacks, or pack a cooler of string cheese, fruit, vegetables, yogurt, etc.....You will be less tempted to grab that bag of chips if you have healthy snacks handy. Keep bottled water on hand too!
2. Plan activities where you get some exercise. A walking tour of local sights, a surfing lesson, a hike in the mountains, or a simple walk on the beach can keep you in your routine.
3. Get up early and hit the hotel gym. A quick workout in the morning will give you stamina for the day's activities.
4. Eat sensibly when you eat out. You don't have to give up all the treats, just compensate for that world famous chocolate cake with a healthy salad and low fat dressing. Remember, every choice you make makes a difference.
