JaCoby Jones LSU Baseball ENIGMA

A what? ...An enigma! What the hell is that? Well, an enigma is a puzzling, mysterious, inexplicable person. JaCoby Jones started the season hitting under .200 and wound up in the most important LSU baseball game of the 2013 season going 4 for 4, two singles, a double and a line drive into the left field seats. So you wonder what is in that guy's head!
The announcers rave about his athletic ability, like stretching a single into a double when he saw Oklahoma's centerfielder take his time getting to a ground single. He shows a lot of speed running the bases, a decent glove and the moxie and athleticism to cover a lot of ground at second base.
Jones was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 3rd Round and could possibly play in the outfield in the major leagues.
Trust me, he is an enigma. Who knows where he winds up? Who knows if he can adjust to major league pitching? But one thing is for sure, his bat speed, his athleticism and his game-on attitude will go far in the baseball days ahead. I only hope the Pirates stay with him in the minors long enough to give him a chance. If he gets his head straight, and if the light bulb comes on, he's going to have a fun major league career.
