Nothing says welcome home quite like walking out of the cold into a nice, warm house. Its easier to make a house feel like home in the wintertime. Here are a few tips to help you set the
Smile It Adds To Your Face Value

Abraham Lincoln said, "Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be." The worst day that you can have is the day you have not laughed.
The optimist laughs to forget; the pessimist forgets to laugh. You might as well laugh at your self once in a while--everyone else does. The only medicine that needs no prescription, has no unpleasant taste, and costs no money is laughter.
A smile is a curve that you throw at someone else, and it always results in a hit. A smile goes a long way, but you're the one that must start it on its journey. Your world will look brighter from behind a smile.
Henry Ward Beecher said,
A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs --jolted by every pebble on the road.
Take to heart the words of Moshe Waldoks:
A sense of humor can help you overlook the unattractive, tolerate the unpleasant, cope
with the unexpected, and smile through the unbearable.
Your day goes the way the corners of your mouth turn. I believe that every time you smile, and even much more so when you laugh, you add something to your life. A smile is a curve that helps us see things straight. Janet Layne said,
Of all the things you wear, your expression is the most important.
Proverbs 17:22 says, "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine." A good laugh is the best medicine, whether you are sick or not.
"The world is like a mirror; frown at it, and it frowns at you. Smile and it smiles too" (Hebert Samuel). Every man who expects to receive happiness is obligated to give happiness. Cheerfulness is contagious, but it seems like some folks have been vaccinated against the infection. The trouble with being a grouch is that you have to make new friends every month.
Our attitude always tells others what we expect in return. Happiness is an inside job. He who laughs, lasts. Smile often and give your frown a rest.
A smile is a powerful weapon. It can break the ice in tough situations. It will help you keep a proper perspective on life. Helen Keller said, Keep your face to the sunshine, and you cannot see the shadow.
You will find that smiling is like having a head cold; both are very catchy. A laugh a day will keep negative people away. As enthusiasm increases, stress and fear decrease. The Bible says that the joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
Cranks do not turn the wheels of progress. Tom Walsh says, Every minute your mouth is turned down you lose sixty seconds of happiness.
Paul Bourge wrote, "Unhappiness indicates wrong thinking, just as ill health indicates a bad regime." It's impossible to smile on the outside without feeling better on the inside. If you can laugh at it, you can live with it.
It was only a sunny smile, But it scattered the night. Though little it cost in giving, It made the day worth living. Anonymous
