You Can Grow Real Nice Tomatoes

You can still grow nice tomatoes even though it's getting pretty late in the season. But hurry and get the plants in the ground. I went to Naylor Brothers this year and asked what I good do to grow bigger, better tomatoes. They told me to add a bag of HUMATE and a bag of CHICKEN MANURE to the soil and till it up very good. The genius that I am, having bought my wife a tiller for Christmas, like Tom Sawyer did whitewashing the fence, showed her how to work the tiller and mix the stuff with the soil. We have some huge, very green, healthy plants that I have had to tie up twice already because they are growing so fast. Now if that translates into TOMATOES, that's yet to be seen. Anyway, the point is the humate and the chicken manure and a little bit of "nitrates" added to the soil made a huge difference for us. We've been growing tomatoes for several years but never had plants like these. If you have a question that I can answer, e-mail me at I'll reply asap. Jt
